Kathy Patrick brings over 25 years of experience in working with organizations of all sizes to develop strategic responses to every challenge and opportunity.
An independent consultant based in Alexandria, VA,
she has worked with a wide range of clients from small
community-based organizations to large international associations. Her extensive expertise includes training,
advocacy, project design and strategic planning.
Patrick has created innovative curricula that are national models in their field, and she has guided teams of subject matter experts in the creation of highly interactive and effective training on deeply technical subjects. She is also an accomplished trainer and has trained thousands of individuals in a wide range of skill areas.
Patrick has developed successful, strategically focused projects for several national organizations. She has guided a new national organization through its formation process and guided a coalition of 20 independent organizations through the process of creating a collective advocacy agenda. She has worked with organizations throughout the country to improve the effectiveness of their advocacy work, and has assisted many with the development of advocacy programs from scratch.
Previously, Patrick served as Field Director and member of the senior management team at Women Work the National Network for Women’s Employment. She also served as Regional Director for a national advocacy organization and President of a statewide advocacy organization.
